Day care in Ikast-Brande

Ikast-Brande Municipality offers childcare guarantee within the municipality for children aged 0 to 5 years old.

    How to sign up?

    You can sign up for municipal childcare services and deregister your child digitally, by using the self-service.

    Please do as follows:

    • Log on digital placement service (digital pladsanvisning) via Borger.dk
    • When you apply for a childcare service, you must consider the date from when you need childcare
    • Log on with mitID
    • Click on the name of the child
    • You can now choose to sign up for childcare, deregister you child or apply for a free place
    • You will then get a receipt, which you can save or print out

    Ikast-Brande is proud to host a full continuum of accredited international education possibilities for our ex-patriate parents and their children. A choice can be made between the International School Ikast-Brande (ISIB) offering the Cambridge Int. Curriculum, and Ikast-Brande Gymnasium, offering the IB Diploma Program for the older students. Parents can also choose one of the Danish local schools and learn Danish at Sprogcenter Midt.
